Oito ciclistas pedalaram nos maiores pontos turísticos da ilha de São Miguel, naquele que foi o "ano zero" da iniciativa Azores Fixed.
O projeto tem a particularidade de ser feito montado numa bicicleta de carreto fixo - as fixed gears como são melhor conhecidas - e sem travões. Trata-se de uma bicicleta de mudança única, mais adequada a espaços citadinos rasos, mas que desta vez vão deslizar pelos verdejantes e inclinados pisos açorianos.
É um projecto que pretende levar ciclistas em bicicletas fixed-gear a percorrer as ilhas dos Açores. Este primeiro ano de 2013 foi feita uma espécie de edição ZERO, apenas na ilha de S.Miguel e com uma logística limitada.. A intenção é continuar e crescer sempre, fazendo
cada vez mais ilhas e levando cada vez mais pessoas.
